Volatile Water and Cataclysm Greens Farming spot! 324g per hour!



This farming area was suggested to me by a friend named "strikebrutal" on my server kel'thuzad. I was farming elemental air for my air guide and he suggested this to me. So i decided to check it out. Thanks again for the suggestion man!

To start out, you'll be farming in twilight highlands in this location here.



You'll be killing the water elementals that litter the landscape here.


I farmed this area for about 20 minutes and ended up with 12 volatile waters, and one green drop "Brightwood Handwraps of the Seer"


Conclusion :

Time spent farming : 20 minutes
Items collected : 12 Volatile waters / 1 Cataclysm green
Volatile water value : 4g / per
Green's value after being disenchanted by someone in trade : 60g = 2 lesser celestial essences
108g per 20 mintues
324g per hour!

Volatile Air Farming Spot! 575g / Hour!





This spot was brought to my attention by a guild mate that was looking for someone to farm him a few volatile airs. He told me about this place and asked me if I would farm some volatile airs for him while he done something else. I agreed and this is what i ended up coming up with.






The spot is located in uldum at a place called Orsis.




You'll be killing an air elemental style mob called "Scion of Al'Akir". These mobs spawn all over the Orsis ruins in many different locations and all have a very fast respawn rate!






After 20 minutes of farming I came up with 12 Volatile Airs. 






Conclusion : 


12 Volatile Airs Collected


16g Value on Auction House


12 airs X 16 gold = 192 gold in 20 minutes


192 x 3 = 576g in 1 hour!




As is every farming spot, this place's profit can vary greatly. So you may make less or you may exceed the amount I made! Hope this guide helped and happy farming!

Patch 4.3.2 General Information


Yesterday, (1/31/2012) patch 4.3.2 launched and there were several different changes made. This isn't an extensive list of the changes but merely a generalized list. You can find the actual patch notes by searching "patch 4.3.2 world of warcraft notes" on any search engine and then choose the site you think is best, or by reading them as the game is in the patching process.



Major Changes -

·         General

-Vengeance is no longer triggered by receiving damage from other players

·         Druids

- Balance druid's tier 13 4 piece set bonus now includes a 10% damage increase of starsurge, in addition to its current effect.

·         Hunters

-Aspect of the hawk now grants 35% more attack power.

-Deterrence now also reduces damage taken by 30% while active.

-Black Arrow now ticks every 2 seconds for 20 seconds, as opposed to every 3
 seconds for 15 seconds. The total damage dealt by the ability is unchanged.

 -Lock and Load no longer benefits Arcane Shot, nor is it consumed by Arcane Shot.

·         Mages

-Fireball damage has been reduced by roughly 6%. Pyroblast damage has been reduced by roughly 6%

·         Paladins

-Holy Radiance now costs 40% of base mana, up from 35%.

·         Priests

-Mass Dispel should again prefer dispelling targets that have magic effects that can be dispelled.

·         Rogues

-Adrenaline Rush no longer triggers a global cooldown.

·         Dungeons and Raids

-You can now form same-faction raids with Real ID friends, allowing you to enter Raid Finder in groups larger than 5, run older normal or heroic raids, or participate in Battlegrounds. You will not yet be able to run normal or heroic Dragon Soul with cross-realm raids of Real ID friends.

 -Several typo fixes and clarified descriptions have been added to the Dungeon Journal entries for Dragon Soul.

 -Players can no longer win multiple copies of the same item on a single Raid Finder boss kill. For example, a player who chooses Need on two set piece tokens or two weapons and wins the first, will not be eligible for the second on that particular boss.

 -Baradin Hold ◦The roaming Eyes of Occu’thar have been replaced by hateful creatures who serve Alizabal.



-Dragon Soul ◦Yor’sahj the Unsleeping ◦The Shaman spell Unleash Life now properly only triggers Deep Corruption on its target. Previously, this affected both the caster and the target.



-Warmaster Blackhorn ◦The visual warning for Twilight Elites’ Blade Rush should be easier to see.



-Spine of Deathwing ◦Burning Tendons health has been reduced by 15% in 10- and 25-player Heroic mode. This change eases the burst damage requirement to complete the encounter, which should allow players to make use of more varied raid compositions.



-Madness of Deathwing ◦The Priest spell Leap of Faith is no longer usable while under the effect of Carrying Winds.

·         Items

-Vial of Shadows damage (Lightning Strike) has been reduced to approximately one-third of previous damage. However, it will now trigger approximately 3 times as often. This is intended to keep overall DPS the same while reducing burst damage, especially in PvP.

 -Maw of the Dragonlord can now have its effect triggered by healing from Holy Word: Sanctuary.
